LOCATION: MARRIOTT HOTEL UMUC

DATE: APRIL 18, 2014

SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER: JUDAH AVENUE

FLORAL AND EVENT DESIGNER: DAYO ONAS EVENTS

I never met Damola and Val till the day of the wedding due to both living in different countries prior to the wedding, Damola was extremely excited about her wedding throughout the consultation phase and Dayo Onas played a huge role in linking us up. Damola was full of energy and I loved her personality. If only every couple could be like Damola and Val. On the other hand Val was an extreme gentleman and the wedding was absolutely beautiful. I pray that God will continue to bless your union and I’m wishing you both the best as you begin this journey. April was an interesting month because I remember running off after the wedding to catch a flight for my destination wedding in Dubai. Thanks to Judah Avenue for helping out with this wedding. Enjoy some of my favorite images from the lovely wedding!!

Love Poem by Christina Rossetti
I loved you first: but afterwards your love
Outsoaring mine, sang such a loftier song
As drowned the friendly cooings of my dove.
Which owes the other most? my love was long,
And yours one moment seemed to wax more strong;
I loved and guessed at you, you construed me
And loved me for what might or might not be –
Nay, weights and measures do us both a wrong.
For verily love knows not ‘mine’ or ‘thine;’
With separate ‘I’ and ‘thou’ free love has done,
For one is both and both are one in love:
Rich love knows nought of ‘thine that is not mine;’
Both have the strength and both the length thereof,
Both of us, of the love which makes us one.

Second Shooter: Folake (Milalake.com/blog) Thank you Folake for your amazing assistance as always.
I had the pleasure of shooting Anthonia & Emo’s wedding in September 2013. Anthonia is probably one of the sweetest Brides I know and Emo is a complete gentleman as well. I just had to blog their wedding.. Happy belated anniversary.
